Telekinesis is the ability to move objects with one's mind. It is proof of how powerful the human mind is. Unfortunately, the phenomenon of telekinesis is wracked with doubt, skepticism, and ridicule. However, this article is going to show you how you can begin developing this ability for yourself.
To practice this technique, you will need the following: a pendulum a pendulum stand a table to place the pendulum stand on
Note: The following technique can take several days, weeks, or months to fully master, so don't get discouraged if you don't see results right away.
Step 1
Take the pendulum and hold it between your thumb and index finger so that it dangles in midair. Rest your elbow on a flat surface such as the top of a table.
Step 2
Without moving your arm, hand, or fingers, visualize the pendulum moving in a certain direction. This direction can be back and forth, side to side, diagonally, clockwise, or counterclockwise. The choice is yours.
What will happen if you visualize long enough is the pendulum will actually begin to move in that direction. If it doesn't start moving right away simply give it some time, but it shouldn't take more than a minute to start moving.
Step 3
Now visualize the pendulum moving in a different direction. You will notice that the pendulum will begin to move in that new direction.
Step 4
Now visualize the pendulum swinging further and further in a certain direction. You will notice that by doing this, you can make the pendulum swing further.
Step 5
Finally, visualize the pendulum not moving at all. This will cause the pendulum to slow down and eventually stop moving completely.
What you have just witnessed is a phenomenon known as the ideomotor effect. Bascially what that means is that your subconscious mind caused you to make extremely small hand movements, which caused the pendulum to move. This is the same phenomenon that causes ouija boards, dowsing rods, and other divination tools to work.
Now this may not seem like much to you at first. However, this is actually a stepping stone to something greater. Once you get good at using the ideomotor effect to move the pendulum, you can then hang the pendulum from something such as a pendulum stand. From there, you can lightly grasp the pendulum stand while visualizing the pendulum move. As you get even better, you can slowly begin to lessen your contact with both the pendulum and the stand until you can make it move without touching them at all.
The following steps will show you how to begin to lessen your contact with the pendulum, little by little, until you can eventually move the pendulum without touching it at all. This is how you transition from the ideomotor effect to full telekinesis.
Step 6
Hang the pendulum from a pendulum stand. Grasp the top of the pendulum stand with your fingertips.
Step 7
Visualize the pendulum moving in a certain direction, just like you did before. This time, however, you are not holding the pendulum in your hand, but lightly touching the object the pendulum is hanging from (the pendulum stand). You will notice that the pendulum does not move as easily. However, this is a good thing. You see, your mind is like your muscles. If you want your muscles to grow, you have to lift a heavy enough weight that will challenge those muscles. Once that weight begins to feel easy to lift, if you want your muscles to continue to grow even stronger, you have to lift even heavier weight. Going from holding the pendulum in your hand to hanging the pendulum from the pendulum stand and then lightly touching it is equivalent to picking up the heavier dumbbells or adding more weight to the bar. Beginning this step, as well as every step after this, is going to feel challenging at first. Eventually though, it will begin to feel as easy as when you were holding the pendulum in your hand. That is when you are ready to begin the next step.
Step 8
Grasp the side of the pendulum stand (either side is fine) with your fingertips.
Step 9
Visualize the pendulum moving in a certain direction. Once you become good at this step, move on to the next step.
Step 10
Grasp the bottom of the pendulum stand with your fingertips.
Step 11
Visualize the pendulum moving in a certain direction. Once you become good at this step, move on to the next step.
Step 12
Place your palm on the table that the pendulum stand is on.
Step 13
Visualize the pendulum moving in a certain direction. Once you become good at this step, move on to the next step.
Step 14
Congratulations on making it this far. You are now ready for this final step. Without touching the pendulum, the pendulum stand, or the table, visualize the pendulum moving in the direction you want. If it moves, then congratulations on learning telekinesis. If it doesn't move, don't get discouraged. Go back to the previous steps until you master them fully.
